Sodium PCA (pyrrolidone carboxylic acid) is an electrolyte that is already found naturally in your skin, where it works to maintain a healthy epidermis.
Calcium PCA (the calcium salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid) helps replenish skin’s barrier and acts as a humectant to help skin’s uppermost layers attract, absorb and retain water.
Amino acids alanine, arginine, betaine, lysine, proline, and threonine work to quench, soothe, protect and strengthen skin.
